Something different

Juvenile Ibis in my neighbor's yard. Ibis are amusing to watch- they come down in big flocks and peck around in the grass- grunting the whole time. Flocks can be as many as 20 or more individuals. Our dog Sophie loves to chase them- they grunt, fly away and fly back in as a solid pack just a few yards away. Not impressed by our energetic dog in the least. These were a couple of young ones who had just started turning (you can see a few white splotches here and there)and they were lagging behind the adults.
