One of the babies has been injured

Sophie, our dog, found it in the bushes, it couldn't fly. There is an Osprey nest next door, and some red-shouldered hawks around. I think it may have tangled with one of those birds. I used gauntlet gloves and a towel and put it carefully in a large plastic tote. It clacked it's beak the whole time, but didn't try to bite. We took it to the emergency vet- and they will transfer it to Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary.

Here it is on the ground, and then in the tote. Makes me so sad- I hope it survives and thrives.
